The Nomad Medication Trolley
The New Nomad Trolley Cabinet has been designed specifically for the secure storage of medication in your home and to ensure that each drug round is completed as safely and easily as possible. The cabinet can be used to store either 9 Nomad Concise blister hoops on shelves or 6 suspended on racks. Alternatively it can store up to 60 Nomad Cassettes. There is ample space for a range of bottles and creams in the door shelves. Inside the trolley you will find:
  • 2 shelves
  • Pack of 8 shelf clips
  • Wall Clamp
  • Sturdy locks
  • 2 Keys
Setting Up
When you receive the trolley it will be set up to store 9 Nomad Concise blister hoops but it can be easily changed, in a matter of minutes, to store Nomad Cassettes using the shelves provided or a mixture of both cassettes and blisters.

Nomad Concise Blisters Pack Hoops
On the inside of the trolley, on the back wall, you will see 9 brackets (3 rows of 3). These are to provide easy location of the blister hoops and to secure them in place. The top three guides are permanently fixed, whilst the bottom 6 guides can be removed if the shelves are to be used. To set up for blister hoops, ensure that the bottom 6 guides are securely in place and then load each blister hoop. Push the blister hoop all the way along the guide ensuring it clips into place at the back with the feet of the hoop either side of the ribs on the back wall of the trolley.

Nomad Cassettes
To configure the trolley for use with Nomad Cassettes first remove the bottom six blister hoop guides from the trolley. Then locate the shelf clips, 4 per shelf, at the required height to the inside of the trolley. Finally place the shelves into position.

Bottles and Creams
Bottles and creams can be stored in the shelves on the inside of the door. The front of the door shelves are hinged to provide easy access for cleaning.

Wall Clamp
Whilst the cabinet is not in use it should be stored in a locked room, secured to the wall using the wall clamp provided. The bracket on one end of the wall clamp should be fixed to the wall. In order to provide quick securing of the trolley simply push the bolt on the opposite end of the wall clamp into the right hand side of the trolley in the location indicated until it clicks into place. There is a small lever on the inside right hand wall of the trolley that is used to release the wall clamp.

Unique Identification
Each cabinet has a unique serial number. This is displayed on a metal plate on the back of each cabinet. Please quote this number when contacting Surgichem regarding the cabinet.

Keys
Whilst not in use the cabinet should be locked at all times. The trolley comes complete with two keys, but if replacement keys are required at a later date, please contact Surgichem quoting the trolley identification number and confirming the key number. A charge of £5 each for replacement keys will be made. There is also a second butterfly lock which can be used with a padlock (not supplied).

Guarantee
The cabinet is guaranteed for a period of 12 months after delivery. If you encounter any problems with your cabinet please contact Surgichem customer services quoting the trolley identification number.
